About Focus

Focus on the Family Singapore is a donor-supported Institution of a Public Character dedicated to helping families thrive through differentiated programmes, trusted resources, content placements and family counselling.


Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop, adapt/localise and customise differentiated and engaging Family Life Education programmes (including digital) for Focus on the Family SG
  2. Develop content and programme materials, including but not limited to articles, media briefs, response pieces, publications, curriculum/facilitator guide, workbook/participant’s take-home, PPT slides/presentation materials, product/marketing information and follow-up engagement
  3. Gatekeep all programmes and content for Focus brand, orthodoxy and standards
  4. Keep current of family life trends, social issues or related policies through reading, synthesizing and responding to identified issues, and in so doing support and substantiate programme credibility, including providing references, citations and case studies as necessary
  5. Provide copywriting, editing and proofreading of Focus content
  6. Conduct regular data analysis of participants and programme activities, plus evaluation of programme efficacy and impact (including financial model and funding opportunities)
  7. Become a Focus family life expert and spokesperson for advocacy matters and identified genres and topics related to sexuality, marriage and parenting
  8. Undertake any other projects or activities as directed by the Head, Research & Development or CEO


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Solid command of the English language with excellent writing skills
  • Creative with an eye for detail and intuition for engagement (in person or virtual)
  • Initiated, self-disciplined and self-motivated to see through long-term projects
  • Flexible and resourceful team player, with a desire for continual learning
  • Familiarity with Focus brand and style
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of social research methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience in InDesign and Photoshop is a plus

Working Hours

  • 9.00am – 6.00pm (with an hour of lunch) from Mondays to Fridays.

Compensation & Benefits

  • This is a contract position renewable annually or with opportunity to be converted to a permanent headcount role.
  • Salary commensurate depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Candidate will be entitled to leave, insurance and all other employment benefits in accordance with the policies set by the organisation.
